Here comes the bride

My sweet friend Tiffany was temporarily insane and asked me to take her bridal portraits :)  She promised to be easy going and we'd get through it together and she kept that promise. I had so much fun spending the early evening with Tiffany and her friend K'Lea, who was a fantastic distraction.

I really  hope that I did her justice because she is a beautiful girl, inside and out, and I can't wait to share their wedding day. Thank you Tiffany for being my bridal stunt woman.

Sunday Funday for The Lane's means photo time :)

This past Sunday I decided that it was about time to have some photos done with Jeremy's side of the family & sweet Hootie Hu. Jeremy's parents, Jim and Debbie, were such troopers. It was crazy windy, dusty, and very early.

I wanted to practice a little bit before Jeremy's parents showed up. I love my sweeties.

She's so kissable!!

Sawyer with her Mimi & Grandpa (Shameless plug: That's a Hootie Hu blanket!! My new fave!)

Told ya you can't get away without kissing her!

Making sweet faces at her mimi. I see proof of some mimi kisses... lipstick on the headband :)

Mimi telling Sawyer some "hair raising" scary stories

THE END

Well almost.....

My sweet wild haired child has found a new love... car engines (prefer Camaros) & John Lennon "Imagine".

When you-tubing with her Uncle Tom, she was snoozing away until the engine revved up. She said giggling (Yes, she's giggling now) and kicking out her lead foot.

Last weeks Photo shoot consisted of tutus & hootie books

Praying for mama to quit taking pictures of her

Pretty sure she looks even more like Jerms in this photo. Soooo not fair...
Maybe if he has the next one, Ill get an Asian boy?? Just sayin....

My beautiful Hootie Hu <3

So to update everyone.... I have finally gotten my energy back and have gone into full throttle mode. At 3 weeks after Sawyer's arrival I went back to work full-time for R.C. Graham. It's been really great and I appreciate having a job that doesn't make me sick to my tummy. Hootie Hu is officially in store at Baby BOWtique and doing really well. We love offering something that you can't find anywhere else in Wichita Falls... or at least at a reasonable price. You can find more info about Hootie Hu at Hootie Hu's Blog or find us on Facebook Hootie Hu's Facebook Page. Thank you so much for the support & keep the ideas coming!

Plus on top of everything else, I've really gotten into my photography. I am slowly... very slowly figuring out a thing or two. And then realizing I was wrong... oh so wrong. I'm loving all the opportunities that my friends & family have given me to practice. I have lots of family portraits and even an engagement shoot coming up! Will keep you updated.

Love,

Tara Hayes <3

Brittany, Alex, && Sweet Tyler Lane

I had the pleasure of photographing Brittany and her handsome fellas this weekend. Brittany & I met a couple of years ago through an mutual friend and have had some great times together. Oddly enough, we ended up expecting our little ones within a day of each other. We don't get to see each other as much as we used to so it was really great getting to see B with her sweet little family.

Thank you Brittany & Alex for letting me document these
precious fleeting moments with you guys & Little Tyler Lane!!

See you on the other side

As most of you know, I looooovvvveee photos. I'm pretty comfortable having my picture taken thanks to my mummy and now I've found how much I really enjoy being on the other side of the camera. I unintentionally swiped my mom's Nikon D80 and have really enjoyed the end result. Of course my favorite subject to play with is my sweet sweet Hootie Pie. Although she's not always cooperative :)

Again, thanks to the best mommy ever... I now have a new lens to to help capture the photos that I love.

The day I got my new lens, my dear friend Amy and her sweet little Addy met me so I could test out my new toy. Addy, being sooooo darn cute with a personality to match, made this little mini-shoot fun. Plus I needed the exercise chasing this active little 2-year-old around our 5 acres.

I love love love her eyelashes that are to the moon & back

Addy's favorite prop... her sonic drink. Kiddo was not putting it down :)

And of course, I had to share some new photos of my Sweetface <3 This is a rare moment in between eating & sleeping when Sawyer played it up for the camera. I love how she reacts to the clicking sound of the camera and now looks for it. Gotta train them early :)

I'm really hoping her baby blues stay this pretty
Her sly smile...

My whole wide world weighs 10 lbs

I've had a lot of people ask if I would do photos for them. I'd definitley be interested so please just email me tarahghering@yahoo.com and we'll see what we can do!

Moments captured in a photo

Last Saturday, our little family had the pleasure of having our first family photos captured by Lauren Pinson Photography. The best thing about living in the middle of nowhere is the photos turn out fantastic! Thank you so much documenting this time, which goes by so quickly it seems non-existant, with my sweet little family. She was fantastic and patient to work with our hungry Hootie <3

I've had a lot of people ask me about where I got Hootie's outfit. I am hopelessly addicted to Baby BOWtique on Kell Blvd. I needed an outfit asap because of course I waited until the last minute and within a couple of days she whipped up this super cute perfection for our photo shoot. I've also placed a custom order for a CAT (as in Catepiller Heavy Equipment... not the animal :) & FOX Racing outfit. I can't wait to get them in ... pictures to come soon I'm sure. I promise you can't leave her store without something fantastic.
